At the edge of the Mediterranean

From the top of the mountain ranges to the bottom of the underwater canyons, the Eastern Pyrenees have many natural riches. Internationally recognized, these riches are preserved and promoted within several parks and reserves: Parc Naturel Régional des Pyrénées Catalanes, Réserve Naturelle Nationale de la Forêt de la Massane, Parc Naturel Marin du Golfe du Lion, Réserve Naturelle Marine de Cerbère-Banyuls, etc. In this context, the Biodiversarium constitutes an original and authentic showcase for this surprising biodiversity.

a visit out of time

In a wonderful garden

This 3-hectare park, located on the heights of Banyuls sur mer, promises you a pleasant moment of relaxation and discovery. Suspended above the valley of the Baillaury, it offers an original tour and an exceptional view of the Banyulenc hinterland. It presents, on its terraces and its path, more than 300 local plant species or originating from regions subjected to the Mediterranean climate. In the exhibition spaces, photos, videos and insect collections complete the visit of the garden.
