Our Quality commitments

The Tourist Office of Banyuls-sur-mer is committed to:

– offering you a warm welcome: we do everything possible to encourage you to discover our resort.

– provide you with clear and precise information: our team informs you, in 3 languages, about the territory and its surroundings.

– to welcome you with a professional team attentive to your well-being in Banyuls: experienced and passionate travel consultants do their utmost to meet your expectations and to help you solve any problem.

– show the greatest interest in your satisfaction: your suggestions and remarks (positive or negative) are treated as soon as possible and with the greatest attention in order to improve our service every day a little more.

The State Quality Tourism mark: an exemplary quality of welcome

Issued by the State, the Qualité Tourisme mark is a guarantee of high quality in terms of reception and stay services. Our establishment has this mark of recognition. This means several things, including the following:

– we have a staff attentive to your energy and your comfort: we want you to enjoy your stay to the maximum

– we introduce you to a local destination

– we provide a personalized service

– we listen to our clients’ needs (satisfaction questionnaire, e-reputation analysis, complaint handling, etc.)

This guarantee of quality is provided following an audit carried out by a mystery customer. This client goes through the establishment with a fine-tooth comb and submits it to a number of tests ranging from 250 to 600. Finally, the audit is validated only if 85% of the tests are confirmed.

Our Tourist Office is marked Tourism and Handicap for 3 deficiencies: motor, mental and auditory. We are committed to this approach since 2011.

An accessibility guide of Banyuls sur Mer has been created in order to inform our visitors. This guide contains a presentation of the department, of Banyuls sur Mer as well as a precise census of the accessible structures on the city. Our reception staff is trained to welcome people with reduced mobility and offers at the reception desk, a magnetic loop for people with hearing impairments.

If you wish to visit us, a PMR place is available just next to the Town Hall (located opposite the Tourist Office). Accessible public toilets are also available at the back of the Tourist Office building or next to the “Clos la Phine” bowling green.
