The “marketplace”, what is it?
Since 2017, the Tourist Office has established a partnership with the CCI of Perpignan, in order to equip you with an online reservation system, essential nowadays!
Online sales / reservations are unavoidable today, and Banyuls professionals now have the opportunity to use to a multi-channel distribution tool: website of the professional, website of the city of Banyuls, and portal po-cket.fr, a real plus to develop their business.
The “marketplace” is an online sales platform, integrated into the city’s website, on which partners can sell their products and services.
The advantages of joining the “marketplace” scheme:
- an inexpensive way to get + visibility (on www.banyuls-sur-mer.com and on the Banyuls-sur-Mer Mobile Application)
- possibility to integrate packs with other services (accommodation + activities)
- possibility to propose “Coup de Coeur” offers all year round (only for accommodation providers)
- no duplication on your reservation schedules, as the module is synchronized with your own reservation calendar
- you equip yourself with a booking module that can be easily integrated on your website
- you have complete control over the tool
- we offer you digital support all year round
I want to be present on the marketplace, how does it work?
First of all, whatever your activity, you must be a partner of the Tourist Office of Banyuls-sur-Mer. Then, it’s quite simple: make an appointment (at the Tourist Office or at home) with the destination’s Webmarketer and a person from the CCI, in order to define your needs and show you the simplicity of the tools (this appointment does not commit you to anything). If the device corresponds to your expectations, provide us with the parameterization elements of the tools (availability, product sheets, photos, …). Once the tools are set up by us, we take a second appointment to provide you with the access codes and to train you on the tools. Of course, once the elements are online, we remain at your disposal in case of need, or if you don’t have time to make the modifications yourself!
It is necessary to join the CCI as well as the Tourist Office (option “Marketing” not included in the basic participation)
How much does it cost?
To be present on the marketplace, it costs 100€ in addition to the basic participation to the Tourist Office.
I have a furnished accommodation and wish to be present on the marketplace, how to do it?
This device is reserved for partners of the Tourist Office of Banyuls-sur-Mer. The process requires some work (especially at the beginning for the setting of the account), but remains very simple: make an appointment (at the OT or at your place) with the Webmarketer of the destination in order to define your needs and to show you the simplicity of the Open Pro tool (this appointment does not commit you in anything). If what we propose corresponds to your expectations, we create and set up your account together (availability, periods, rates, descriptions, photos, Terms and Conditions …). Once your file is set up, we put it online and that’s it! Of course, once the elements are online, we remain at your disposal in case of need, or if you do not have time to make the changes yourself!
I am a host and I want to propose a “Coup de Cœur” offer, how to do it?
This service is offered, for all hosts present on the Tourist Office marketplace, free and non-commissioned.
