The Cercle Nautique de Banyuls sur mer invites you to take part in a festive weekend on 3 and 4 May 2025 for the Rimage Racing, 3rd leg of the Gulf of Lion Natural Marine Park Trophy.
The Cercle Nautique de Banyuls wants this event to be a celebration of the sea, to inspire people to take up sailing, to showcase the beauty of our coastline and to raise awareness of the richness of our marine heritage and the importance of preserving it.

The Cercle Nautique de Banyuls wants this event to be a celebration of the sea, to inspire people to take up sailing, to showcase the beauty of our coastline and to raise awareness of the richness of our marine heritage and the importance of preserving it.
Thanks to the support of the local authorities and the cooperation of all those involved, lovers of the sea will be able to kick off the summer season with two days of sport, culture and fun.
The Marine Nature Park Trophy is the result of a partnership between the Marine Nature Park and the Comité Départemental de Voile des Pyrénées-Orientales (CDV66), a departmental branch of the Fédération Française de Voile.
Regattas, lateen sails, walks, conferences, tasting of local products... an event designed to help you discover the richness of our coastal heritage and the actions taken to preserve our biodiversity.

Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 May :
- Regatta: Constructed courses in the Bay of Banyuls. Visible from the coast and the coastal path. Prize-giving ceremony on Sunday from 5pm.
- Gathering of Catalan boats organised by Facotem. Sardinade, Saturday lunchtime, in the harbour, next to the harbourmaster's office. Membership €25 (including a boat trip,
insurance and the Saturday sardinade).
Saturday 3 May at 10am:
- Walk along the coastal path. Guided walk with commentary, organised by Banyuls Rando to discover the work of the vines and watch the regatta from the top of the schist terraces. Participation €5, registration at the tourist office.
Saturday 3 May at 5.30pm in the Salle Novelty
- Conference on fishing and the marine environment. History of blue crab fishing in the ponds of the PO by Y. Pons, fisherman at Canet pond.
- Continuous pollution of protected areas, how can we reverse the situation?
