    For the last three years, "Banyuls goes green" has brought young and old together around a common goal: to take action for the planet, here and locally. Thanks to you, this event has become a key time for raising awareness, mobilising people and sharing ideas.

    Today, the town of Banyuls-sur-Mer is taking things a step further. Convinced that our region has "gone green", we have chosen to integrate our approach into a wider dynamic: the Fête de la Nature, a national event that celebrates biodiversity and local initiatives.

    This means that :
    - Our environmental commitments are still alive and well;
    - Our environmental commitments are still there, more alive than ever; Nature-related events and highlights are being maintained, including the large-scale rubbish collection in all the neighbourhoods, but redesigned in a new format, open to new audiences and partnerships;
    - Banyuls is now part of a national network, to further promote our commitment to environmental responsibility.

    In other words, the green is still there, but it's blossoming in a new way! We're not turning the page, we're continuing to write it.
