The crèche is a service managed by the Community of Communes Albères – Côte Vermeille – Illibéris. It allows parents to find a childcare solution for their children and to accompany the little ones in their first steps towards socialization and the development of their learning.

The RAM Relais Assistants Maternels is a place of information and guidance dedicated to families of young children.

Relais Assistantes Maternelles (RAM)

As a one-stop shop, the Relais Assistantes Maternelles (RAM) has become the go-to address for parents looking for childcare. In addition, the childcare assistants find there a privileged place of information, listening and guidance.
Also on the program of this structure: a shared workshop parents-children-nursery assistants, regular welcome hours for families and meetings addressing specific themes (food, sleep, disease …), etc.
All services are free.

The list of childminders of the town is available at the CCAS at 04 68 88 78 15.

Hours of permanence (usually):

Monday: 4:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Tuesday: 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.
Thursday: 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
4th Friday of the month: 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Schedule of duty (during the Covid-19 health crisis):

Because of the health crisis, the RAM proposes since Monday, November 9 a new organization adapted to the situation.
All the permanences with or without appointment are then centralized on the seat of the RAM in Argelès-sur-Mer, 3 allée Ferdinand Buisson.
Telephone contacts will be privileged (except for direct appointments after a first contact with the animators).

Monday: 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Tuesday: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Wednesday: 10 am to 4:30 pm
Thursday: 2 to 5:30 p.m.
Friday: 12:00 to 1:30 pm; 3:00 to 5:00 pm

Tuesday afternoon parent/child shared workshops are cancelled pending positive developments in the current health crisis.

The facilitators are difficult to reach in the morning. We therefore invite you to contact them preferably in the afternoon, from 2pm. In case of absence, please leave your name, contact information and the reason for your call on the answering machine. The animators will call you back as soon as possible.
