The Little Festival is rescheduled for August 25-28, 2021. You have until August 1 to send in your news.

As part of this edition of the “Petit Festival de la Côte Vermeille” devoted to the theme of water, we would like to open a writing contest to residents over 12 years of the Occitania Region.

The theme of the first contest is a rambling around The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen.

We invite all those who are interested in writing to propose a short story that will have to integrate the sentence: “The little mermaid comes back and doesn’t want to dance anymore because her feet hurt…”

To your pens, tablets, etc!

The contest will be open from April 15 to August 1, 2021.

Send your short stories (maximum 20,000 characters) by email to contact@lepetitfestivaldelacotevermeille.fr no later than August 1, 2021 at midnight.

The first 40 short stories received will be considered.

The Petit Festival de la Côte Vermeille prize will be awarded on August 28, 2021 in Cerbère in the presence of the Jury. The winning story will be read by the actor Jean-Marc Barr.
