2021 Christmas Lights Contest
Two categories are offered:
– “Individual” category: house; window and/or balcony in a building
– “Neighborhood” category: 5 or more homes; apartment building
To participate, fill out the entry form and return it:
– either to the Town Hall for the paper version before Friday, December 17 last deadline ;
– or by e-mail to b.soub@banyuls-sur-mer.com or c.lafue@banyuls-sur-mer.com for the digital version before Sunday, December 19, 2021 last deadline.
“My Beautiful Tree” Contest
“Homemade” and “recycled” tree contest.
The goal is to showcase the talents of the city’s residents. Use your creativity, use recycled/recyclable decorations whenever possible or make them yourself.
TO PARTICIPATE
1. Imagine and create your tree with salvaged materials ;
2. Register at City Hall or at b.soub@banyuls-sur-mer.com or c.lafue@banyuls-sur-mer.com ;
3. The trees will be deposited between Wednesday, December 1 and Friday, December 10, 2021 at the latest, in the Hall of the Town Hall.
3 prizes will be awarded:
– The jury prize (which will meet on December 31, 2021 at 4:00 pm) ;
– The prize of the public ;
– The originality prize (awarded by the jury).
How to vote for your favorite tree?
The trees will be visible in the Hall of Honor during the days and hours of opening of the City Hall from Monday, December 13 to Friday, December 31 (before 16:00): Monday to Thursday from 8:30 to 12:00 and 13:30 to 17:30 and Friday from 8:30 to 12:00 and 13:30 to 17:00.
A ballot box will be at your disposal with ballots to vote for your favorite tree.
The results will be announced at the ceremony of wishes of Mr. Mayor on Friday, January 28, 2022 at 18:00 Bartissol room.
